I get many questions about tummy fat - ie how to get rid of it. So here are my thoughts on this persistent problem!
Not only is sleep a potential culprit, its also possible that the menopause may be a contributing factor, due to a drop in oestrogen levels.
However if neither of those are relevant in your life, its just diet & exercise I'm afraid. My top tips then are:
Cut out processed foods
Eat fresh meat, vegetables, fish, diary, nuts, seeds, pulses, and plan your meals ahead.
Control your portion sizes.
Exercise regularly, doing what you enjoy. Get your heartrate up.
If you are already exercising, vary it to continuously push and challenge yourself.
Hours of sits ups won't work!!!
